The R∴L∴Aletheia is the lodge of Research of the G∴L∴D∴I∴ of the A∴L∴A∴M∴, Obedience of Piazza del Gesù – Palazzo Vitelleschi. Nomen omen: the very name of the lodge speaks for its function. On the seeking path to the Truth, the lodge targets the detailed study of particularly complex themes and topics both of eso- and exoteric nature. The lodge actualizes its work through the publishing of notebooks which get to be distributed to support and help the work of the local Orients. Due to the importance of such educational work among the lodges of the Obedience, the lodge of Research has its Worshipful Master in the person of the Grand Master Sovereign Grand Commander and has its seat in Rome, yet operating itinerantly, as guest of the various Orients which compete to host it.
The affiliates of the lodge Aletheia get to be rigorously coopted from other lodges but the lodge remains constantly open to new additions. Such brothers and sisters are naturally drawn to study and research, both in humanistic and traditional sciences, namely in all human knowledge, ever and always in the service of the Truth intended as presence, discovery and epiphany.
